Our Under 9 team had their first ever competitive match on Sunday! It was against Fleet with lots of goals coming at both ends.
The team was set up in recently due to the demand from young girls wanting to take up football in the area, something that is evidence to the growth of the women's game! The team has been coached by Tony, Francesca and Beth on Sunday mornings with participation growing week on week. The parents and girls have loved becoming part of the Flyer's family! This program has been part of the clubs strategy to grow youth football with these girls being the future of the club.
